SLIS hosts three Taiwanese exchange scholars

While a library can open the entire world to a person willing to discover it, librarianship can sometimes literally lead a person to the other side of the globe. That is the case for three students from Taiwan this summer. 

Gilman scholarship supports study abroad opportunities

Eight Texas Woman’s students recently returned from unique ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Education Abroad faculty-led trips, thanks in part to scholarships from the program.

A gift from sisters Mildred Tribble, ’45, and Marie Tribble, ’46, will assist students from the College of Professional Education who study abroad.

Five Houston College of Nursing faculty traveled with 31 nursing students (five graduates and 26 undergraduates, from Dallas and Houston) to Vietnam May 14-29.

Center for Global Nursing Director , recently traveled to Saudi Arabia with the Texas International Education Consortium.
