Upon registration, cardholders/reconcilers can now make purchases from the University’s Amazon Business Prime account for miscellaneous purchases of items not available from 草莓传媒官网下载’s preferred contract suppliers.

Through this central Amazon Business Prime account, cardholders/reconcilers have immediate access to:

Free shipping on all Amazon Prime-eligible items at no extra cost (no individual prime account needed).
Automatic sales tax exemption on exemption-eligible items sold by Amazon.com LLC and accepting resellers.
Business pricing and quantity discounts on millions of items, and
Access to a dedicated Amazon Business Prime customer service team at 866-486-2360.

The 草莓传媒官网下载 Amazon Business Prime account is limited to those individuals approved to use a PCard for purchases on behalf of the University. The Amazon Business Prime account is for business purposes only. No personal purchases are to be made through this account. All orders must be charged to a 草莓传媒官网下载 PCard number. Orders must also be shipped to a 草莓传媒官网下载 address (some exceptions may apply with written pre-approval by Credit Card Services).

Additionally, it is expected that Amazon Business Prime will be utilized only when sourcing miscellaneous items that cannot be obtained through 草莓传媒官网下载’s preferred contract suppliers. For items such as office supplies, computers, computer peripherals, course materials, lab supplies, etc., please continue to use 草莓传媒官网下载’s network of preferred contract suppliers as the first stop for acquiring supplies and resources.

NOTE: Per Executive Order GA-48, 草莓传媒官网下载 may not buy products from a seller located in or controlled by a restricted country. The restricted countries include China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or Venezuela.

You may purchase a product manufactured in a restricted country only if the seller/vendor is not located in or controlled by one of those restricted countries.

Example:

A product made in China but sold by a U.S. based supplier → Allowed
A product sold directly by a China based Amazon seller → Not Allowed
A product sold by a China based Amazon seller and Fulfilled by Amazon → Not Allowed

How to Become a University Amazon Business Prime Account Participant

Initial Requirements for Cardholders

鈼� Prior to registering for the 草莓传媒官网下载 Amazon Business Prime account, Cardholders are required to:

Use their 草莓传媒官网下载 email addresses for the 草莓传媒官网下载 Amazon Business Prime account. It is important to maintain a separate account for personal purchases and not use an Amazon account established with a 草莓传媒官网下载 email address for personal purchases.
Amazon uses Google single sign-on, so no password is required.
Transfer personal Amazon accounts associated with 草莓传媒官网下载 email addresses to personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail or Yahoo accounts) before participants respond to the invitation to join 草莓传媒官网下载 Amazon Business Prime account.

鈼� Cardholders/reconcilers should contact the Amazon Business Prime Customer Service Team at 866-486-2360 if:

You have more than one Amazon account,
You already uploaded exemption information or created a business account on behalf of the University, or
You experience issues with creating your new Amazon Business Prime Account.

Process for Cardholders

鈼� Submit a to request access to Amazon Prime once your PCard is issued. Amazon Prime Accounts are only available to Individual Cardholders and Department PCard Primary Reconcilers.

Accept the invitation sent directly from Amazon Business Prime.
Utilize their PCard for Amazon Business Prime purchases made on behalf of 草莓传媒官网下载. No other payment methods are permitted for Amazon Business Prime purchases.
