Class Registration

Class Registration is a time for students to meet with their academic advisors and learn detailed information about their area of study at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ. Together, students and their academic advisors will create a class schedule and register for classes.

Living on Campus – All You Need to Know

You are living on campus, now what? Join us to learn more about living on campus, move-in, what to bring to campus, dining plans, events, resources, Living Learning Communities (LLC), and the residential experience.

Majors Exploration Fair

Students will have the opportunity to explore the different majors offered at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ and speak to faculty and staff from those departments. Students are encouraged to seek out alternatives to their intended major, explore possible minors, or identify a parallel plan to pursue. This is a great time for students to ask questions about any of the degrees, minors, and certificates offered before they meet with their academic advisor.

Paying for College at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ

This session will guide you through the financial side of college, including financial aid, billing, payment deadlines, and installment plan options. You will also learn about campus resources available to help students make informed financial decisions throughout their time at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ.

The Pioneer Compass – Advising Roadmap

During this 45-minute presentation from your advising staff, you will learn some basic information that will help you prepare for the fall as well as your entire educational experience at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ. Students and parents are invited to learn more about being a ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Pioneer, from our history and traditions to what it means to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Resource Fair

This is your first opportunity to learn about the many services and resources available to you. Various campus departments will showcase their services and how they contribute to the success of students at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ. Visit tables for information and giveaways!

Small Group Meeting #1

You will meet your Orientation Leaders and other new students. You will be introduced to the university, academic life at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ and have the opportunity to get to know your peers.

Small Group Meeting #3

This final meeting with your Orientation Leaders will help prepare you for the class registration process. This is also a great time to ask your Orientation Leaders any lingering quest ions you may have.

Sorority and Fraternity Life at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ: You Belong Here!

Sorority & Fraternity Life at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ is rooted in leadership, service, scholarship, and lifelong friendships. During the Student Organizations Fair, ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ student organizations will be available to showcase their involvement in campus life. You will have the opportunity to talk with organization members to find out how you can get involved during your first semester at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ.
