Music Major for a Day

The Texas Woman’s University Division of Music is excited to welcome local high school juniors and seniors to our campus for the 2025 Music Major for a Day event.
Students will enjoy a full day on the beautiful ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Denton campus and will experience a day in the life of a ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Music major. This event is open to all prospective students considering a degree in music education, music therapy, music performance, and liberal arts – music. Parents are encouraged to attend. Registration is free of charge.

- Learn about our degree programs, admission, and scholarship opportunities
- Sit in on music courses with actual ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Music students
- Tour ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Music facilities and the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Denton campus
- Experience rehearsals and performances with our large ensembles
