Course Evaluations

Course Evaluations are required under Texas Education Code Section 51.974: Internet Access to Course Information.

Section 51.974 (h) states that Institutions of higher education included in this section shall conduct end-of-course student evaluations of faculty and develop a plan to make evaluations available on the institution’s website.

Online course evaluations are mandatory for all undergraduate and graduate classes with five or more students. Evaluation responses are anonymous. Evaluation results are available through the  to each instructor.

The Department of Institutional Research and Improvement encourages all ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ students to provide valuable feedback to your instructors through the Watermark Course Evaluation system.

Resources for Faculty

To access and download your course evaluation reports:

  1. Log in directly to your , or access your course evaluations through Canvas at https://twu.instructure.com
  2. Under the Project Results section, click on the specific Course Evaluation/Semester link you want to view.
  3. Click purple download icon located on the far right side of desired course.
  4. “Short Report” will produce the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Summary Report you are used to seeing.
  5. “Short Report + Comments” will produce the Student Comments plus the likert responses.
