General Counsel

The Office of General (“OGC”) serves as legal counsel to Texas Woman’s University. OGC is committed to providing high-quality and ethical legal advice and services to ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ’s Board of Regents, officials and employees to support their work in fulfilling ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ’s purpose, vision, and core value. Our goal is to efficiently manage the University’s legal affairs and to consistently provide professional solutions-oriented legal services to our clients.

Communications between the Office of General Counsel and its clients are generally subject to the attorney-client privilege of confidentiality.

The Office of General Counsel cannot provide legal advice to employees, faculty, or students on personal legal matters, such as criminal matters, family or estate matters, immigration or tax matters. Students needing legal assistance should contact Student Legal Services.
