The College of Health Sciences is proud to annually recognize its award-winning faculty members for their outstanding contributions that directly benefit the College, their discipline, the community and the 2,600 CHS students whose lives and education they profoundly impact. Awards are determined by an interdisciplinary committee of peers from the College.
The Teaching Award is presented to a CHS faculty member who has exhibited a distinguished record of teaching and dedication to improving the teaching and the learning of their students.
The Scholarship Award recognizes a CHS faculty member who has shown a distinguished record of scholarship and dedication to improving knowledge and understanding in their discipline.
The Service Award honors a CHS faculty member who has exhibited a distinguished record of service to their component, the university, their professional field of study, and/or the community.
The Synergy Award is presented to a CHS faculty member who has demonstrated a synergy across their teaching, scholarship and service that has visible outcomes for the component or university. Synergy involves connecting two or more of the three faculty activities (teaching, scholarship, service) demonstrating enhanced outcomes because of their interconnectedness.
The Interprofessional Education Award recognizes a group of ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ faculty members within the College of Health Sciences who have exhibited a distinguished record of IPE and dedication to improving interprofessional collaboration.
