2026 Wildflower Day to focus on pollinators' role in ecosystems

The 2026 Texas Wildflower Day will take place on the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Denton campus Apr. 24-25. Texas Woman’s University is the designated location for the annual Wildflower Day celebration. The theme for this year's Wildflower Day is Beyond the Bloom, Protecting Pollinators and Preserving our Future.

At the annual Texas Wildflower Day celebration on the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ campus, Camelia Maier, PhD, was named director of the Bettye Myers Butterfly Garden by ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Provost Angela Bauer.
