It took just one accounting class and Caryn Riggs was in love. In love with numbers, that is. They made sense. They were logical to her. The Texas Woman’s University alumna came from a family of educators, and the original plan was to be a teacher. That detour in accounting led Riggs to a rewarding career in finance and accounting.

²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ HCA Teams Take Top Honors at Virtual CAHME Case Competition

Two graduate student teams from Texas Woman’s Health Care Administration Department took top honors at the Virtual ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ CAHME (Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education) Case Competition on Sept. 24.

Texas Woman’s Finance student Madeline Griffith is one of 12 students to be awarded a $10,000 scholarship from Schwab Advisor Services' 2022 . The scholarship is for the 2022-2023 academic year.

MBA grad leaves big shoes to fill

She left behind a spirited legacy when she graduated from Texas Woman’s with an MBA on May 14, and whoever follows in Leslie Fredrickson’s footsteps is going to have some awfully big shoes to fill.

Texas Woman’s College of Business and the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership both are dedicated to advancing women leaders, and through their new partnership program, the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Bold LeadHERship Roundtable, they are continuing to do just that for Houston women leaders of color.
