Paige Anderson
Academic Advisor I
Hometown: Prosper, TX
Education: B.A. Music Education, Texas Woman’s University
About Me: I am a first-generation with a bachelor’s in music education. During my time as an undergrad at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ, I did my best to be involved in being a part of the community. I worked on campus at Bunsen Tea Lab for 4 years as well as was a member of our Wind Symphony for 4 years as a flute player. I served as an Orientation Leader during the summer of 2023 and loved every second of it — which led me to want to become an academic advisor. I believe in helping others in any way I can through empathy and encouragement. I strive to create a safe environment for students who walk through the doors of ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ and be a guide for those who need it. Outside of work, I love to play video games with friends, spend time with family, read, cook, and spend time with my adorable (and scary at times) cat, Winnie.
Arty Leos-Martinez
Academic Advisor I
Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Education: B.A. Dance Studies, double Minor in Sociology and Business Management, Texas Woman’s University
About Me: As a proud first-generation Mexican-American immigrant student, my journey at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ began as a transfer student. During my time as an undergraduate, I was deeply involved on campus, serving as an Orientation Leader and a Resident Assistant for the Department of Housing and Dining. These experiences ignited my passion for working with students, and I knew I wanted to continue supporting them beyond my time as a student. I’m now fortunate to pursue that passion as an Academic Advisor, where I help guide students on their path to success and take pride in being part of their journey to graduation. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my best friends, watching movies, and discovering new coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping spots!
Alyssa Chavez
Academic Advisor I
Hometown: Dallas, Texas
Education: B.S. Psychology, Minor in Counseling, University of North Texas
About Me: During my time at UNT, I worked at a counseling clinic and served as a teaching assistant for the College of Business. Following my degree, I spent three years as Adult Probation Officer with Denton County, where I developed a passion for guiding others towards their goals and connecting them with the resources they need to succeed. I’m excited to join the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ community and help students navigate their academic journey while learning more about the university and its rich history. Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting and crafting, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and hanging with my three cats – Mochi, Yuki, and Cheddar.
