As a Texas Woman’s honors student, Ayana Georges (B.S. ‘18) knew she wanted to make a difference in the world of kinesiology. This prompted her to begin her award-winning research, which received top honors at the held in March.

²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ has hired Diana Elrod, Ph.D., to lead its new Center for Student Research. The Center is part of ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ's efforts to offer increased collaborative research and creative programs and services to its students.
Texas Woman’s faculty Christopher Bolinger wins national research award

Assistant Professor Christopher Bolinger, Ph.D. of the communication sciences and disorders faculty is the recipient of a national research award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The awards are given to junior university faculty members to support their mentored academic and research endeavors in the field of communication disorders. Bolinger plans to use the award to further research in his area of expertise: dysphagia, a swallowing disorder.
