Faculty win $10,000 first prize at research conference

Assistant Professor Ngozi Mbue, PhD, of the College of Nursing and Associate Professor Rhett Rigby, PhD, of the College of Health Sciences teamed with two others to win $10,000 and first prize at TARC, an annual research conference sponsored by the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES).

U.S. News & World Report has recognized Texas Woman’s graduate programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing and speech-language pathology as being among the nation’s best in their 2024 “Best Graduate Schools” edition.

Lecture series, mentoring program to address rural healthcare concerns

Through a grant, the College of Health Sciences and the College of Nursing will host current leaders in rural health from a range of professions over the next two years. The series – Empowering Women for Rural Healthcare Leadership – focuses heavily on women in leadership. In all, the lecture will include six lectures open to the community.
