Consortium recognizes ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ digital library division for innovation
April 18, 2023 — DENTON — The Texas Digital Library, a statewide consortium devoted to expanding library resources to students and faculty, has recognized Texas Woman’s Digital Strategies and Innovation department with the organization’s 2023 Outreach Award.
The award honors individuals or teams that demonstrate innovative approaches that increase the accessibility of digital information, promote engagement among new users or grow public awareness about digital collections.
Texas Digital Library will present the award during the Texas Conference on Digital Libraries on May 16 in Austin.
Among the initiatives of the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Libraries’ Digital Strategies and Innovation department was an effort to increase exposure of faculty and student research through a repository and a faculty partnership that showcases newly created digital collections and student-led projects.
