U.S. News ranks graduate online programs among country鈥檚 best
Jan. 26, 2021 鈥 DENTON 鈥 U.S. News & World Report has recognized online graduate nursing and online graduate education at Texas Woman鈥檚 University as being among the nation鈥檚 best and ranked specific master鈥檚 programs in nursing education and family nurse practitioner among the country鈥檚 top 10.
The recognition was announced today in the publication鈥檚 annual 鈥淏est Online Programs鈥 edition, which offers rankings in a variety of academic categories. U.S. News considers several factors in , such as student engagement, faculty training and credentials, expert opinions, support services and technology, and student excellence.
罢奥鲍鈥檚&苍产蝉辫; and offerings ranked in the top half of all universities assessed across the country in those categories. 草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚 online graduate nursing was ranked 6th among 14 Texas universities while its online graduate education was ranked 11th among 22 Texas institutions.
Additionally, Texas Woman鈥檚 out of 14 universities that were ranked, and 罢奥鲍鈥檚&苍产蝉辫; 鈥 and first in Texas 鈥 out of 16 universities ranked.

For its 2021 edition, the publication assessed 1,641 online degree programs鈥攁n all-time high.
鈥淗ighly ranked programs have strong traditional academic foundations based on student-instructor access, graduation rates and instructor credentials,鈥 the publication states. 鈥淭hey also excel at educating distance learners while offering robust career and financial support.鈥
In 2020, U.S. News ranked 草莓传媒官网下载 No. 5 in the country 鈥 and No. 1 in Texas 鈥 for student diversity, and California education nonprofit Educate to Career recognized 草莓传媒官网下载 as a top university for its ability to provide a quality education during the economic crisis brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
