草莓传媒官网下载 Music presents 9/11 memorial concert 鈥楬ome of the Brave鈥�
September 2, 2021 鈥� DENTON 鈥� Join the Texas Woman鈥檚 University Division of Music for 鈥淗ome of the Brave,鈥� a 9/11 memorial concert featuring performances by the 草莓传媒官网下载 band, choir and orchestra. The event will take place in on 草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚 Denton campus at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11.
The concert is free and open to the public. Masks and social distancing are encouraged, and street parking is available to all guests.
草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚 Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Wind Symphony and Chamber Orchestra will perform timeless classics, including 鈥淭he Star-Spangled Banner鈥� by John Stafford Smith and Francis Scott Key and 鈥淎merica the Beautiful鈥� by Samuel Augustus Ward, as well as contemporary pieces, including 鈥淎 Hymn for the Lost and the Living鈥� by Eric Ewazen and 鈥淕oodnight, Dear Heart鈥� by Dan Forrest.
