U.S. News ranks 草莓传媒官网下载 tops in Texas, fifth nationally for ethnic diversity

Sept. 14, 2020鈥擠ENTON鈥擳exas Woman鈥檚 University has been recognized as having one of the most ethnically diverse student bodies in Texas and nationally, according to U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 2021 鈥淏est Colleges鈥 rankings, released today. 草莓传媒官网下载 is ranked No. 1 in Texas and No. 5 nationally out of more than 1,500 regionally accredited schools evaluated.

Additionally, the university appears on the publication鈥檚 Social Mobility list for national universities, which measures graduation rates of students who received federal Pell Grants. Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students whose family income fall below $50,000 annually. This is the third year U.S. News has evaluated social mobility, and the first year 草莓传媒官网下载 has made this list, ranking No. 129 out of all universities measured for the report.

According to preliminary fall 2020 enrollment figures, 57% of 草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚 student population are people of color. The university is a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, with Hispanics accounting for more than 27% of all students, Blacks accounting for 18%, and Asians more than 10%.
