Texas Woman's Doswell Conference focuses on health informatics
March 27, 2019鈥擠ALLAS鈥擳exas Woman鈥檚 University is focusing on informatics as it applies to community health care at its annual Doswell Informatics Conference, which will be held April 5 at the 草莓传媒官网下载 T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences 鈥 Dallas Center.
鈥淲e want this conference to be a catalyst for more community collective initiatives that include health informatics for data use, technology-supported community connections, and optimized provider experiences using technology,鈥 said event organizer and 草莓传媒官网下载 nursing professor Mari Tietze, Ph.D.
Conference keynote speakers include Steve Miff, Ph.D., president and CEO of Parkland Clinical Care Innovations in Dallas; Marisa Wilson, DNSc, senior scientist of the University of Alabama鈥檚 Informatics Institute; and Nora Belcher, executive director of the Texas e-Health Alliance in Austin.
There is no charge for this conference, which is targeted toward health professionals. Preregistration is required at Complimentary registration include meals, snacks, parking and up to six continuing education credits.
