Staff performance evaluations provide an opportunity for employees and supervisors to reflect on accomplishments, discuss performance and expectations, and identify opportunities for continued growth and development. The process is designed to support meaningful conversations about each employee’s contributions and goals while ensuring performance expectations are clearly understood.

Please use the timeline below to help you plan for and complete each step of the 2026-2027 Staff Performance Evaluation process. Contact information and training resources are also available on this page to support you throughout the process.

2025-2026 Staff Performance Evaluation Timeline

Dates	Staff Performance Evaluation Activities
September 21 – October 2, 2026	Supervisor/Employee Training* Self-Appraisals entered by employees (First level supervisors may begin evaluations as soon as Self-Appraisals are complete)
October 5 – October 16, 2026	Performance evaluations entered by First level supervisors (Second level supervisors may begin approval as soon as evaluations are entered)
October 19 – October 23, 2026	Performance evaluations reviewed and approved by second level supervisors (Performance evaluation meetings with employees may begin as soon as the performance evaluation has been approved by second level supervisors).
October 26 – October 30, 2026	Performance Evaluation meetings with employees

Notes:

* Training will be available September 22 & 23, 2026.

Supervisors will complete a performance evaluation for all regular full-time and regular part-time staff employees hired prior to July 1, 2026.
