As part of its coverage of Women's Veterans Day on June 12, CBS DFW news visited the official archive of the Women Airforce Service Pilots, housed in the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ library.

Dr. Katherine Sharp Landdeck, associate professor of history and director of Pioneers Oral History Project at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ, was interviewed. Dr. Landdeck is the acknowledged expert on WASP history and is the author of . She is also a licensed pilot.

The story included footage of the WASP archives, which are on permanent display in the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ library second floor. The collection includes more than a million wartime and postwar items and the .
