Ilse Mayté is an international choreographer, dancer and educator. She holds an MFA in Dance from Texas Woman’s University and BFA in Performance and Choreography from Texas State University. She studied modern, ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop dance in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, for 15 years. She continued to enrich her dance studies for three years in San Marcos and Austin.
