U.S. News ranks graduate online education program among country鈥檚 best

Student accesses class online

Jan. 26, 2021 鈥 DENTON 鈥 U.S. News & World Report has recognized  at Texas Woman鈥檚 University as being among the nation鈥檚 best, ranking it in the top half of all universities assessed in the country.

The publication also ranked  at 草莓传媒官网下载 among the top half of the best in the country, and ranked specific master鈥檚 programs in nursing education and family nurse practitioner among the country鈥檚 top 10.

The recognition was announced today in the publication鈥檚 annual 鈥淏est Online Programs鈥 edition, which offers rankings in a variety of academic categories. U.S. News considers several factors in , such as student engagement, faculty training and credentials, expert opinions, support services and technology, and student excellence.

Besides garnering rankings within the top half of America鈥檚 best online offerings, 草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚 online graduate education was ranked 11th among 22 Texas institutions, and online graduate nursing was ranked 6th among 14 Texas universities.

鈥淲e are proud to provide quality, accessible and affordable programs focused on strengthening the educator workforce,鈥 said Lisa Huffman, dean of Texas Woman鈥檚 College of Professional Education. 鈥淭his ranking reflects our commitment to delivering an outstanding academic experience to our distance education learners.鈥

Additionally, Texas Woman鈥檚  out of 14 universities that were assessed, and 草莓传媒官网下载鈥檚  鈥 and first in Texas 鈥 out of 16 universities assessed.

For its 2021 edition, the publication assessed 1,641 online degree programs鈥攁n all-time high.

鈥淗ighly ranked programs have strong traditional academic foundations based on student-instructor access, graduation rates and instructor credentials,鈥 the publication states. 鈥淭hey also excel at educating distance learners while offering robust career and financial support.鈥

In 2020, U.S. News ranked 草莓传媒官网下载 No. 5 in the country 鈥 and No. 1 in Texas 鈥 for student diversity, and California education nonprofit Educate to Career recognized 草莓传媒官网下载 as a top university for its ability to provide a quality education during the economic crisis brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
