²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ biochemistry student lands internship
June 22, 2022 – DENTON – ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ biochemistry student Derek Aguilar has secured a summer internship with Oakwood Chemical.
Aguilar is expected to complete his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ this December, and then pursue his master's of science in chemistry at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ.
Last fall at the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society meeting, Aguilar earned a one-year membership to the Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry of the American Chemical Society, and was invited to participate in the national meeting of the ACS in Chicago this August.
