Shannon Mantaro

Shannon Mantaro, Executive Director and Chief Officer of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University, leads three specialized centers dedicated to preparing women for successful careers in business and public service. Drawing on her expertise in economic development and women’s entrepreneurship, Mantaro has expanded opportunities for Texas women through innovative grant programs, business advisement services, and strategic partnerships that empower women to excel as executives, entrepreneurs, and public servants. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications and completed a certificate in Women’s Leadership at Yale University.
