²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ teams place in regional competition for healthcare administration students

Thanks to quick thinking, four ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ Master of Healthcare Administration students used evidence-based research to identify and recommend appropriate interventions and took the top prize at the North Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives case competition in October. A second ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ team earned third-place honors.

Mom of 4 works full time and on cusp of second degree

Patricia Aguirre has put a lot on her plate the last few years to accomplish one of her life goals: to get a college degree. After graduating in May 2023 from ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ’s College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Aguirre decided to continue her education. She will graduate in May of 2024 from ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ with an MBA that has an emphasis in human resource management.

Texas Woman's alumnus Tim Pike was recently named chair of the board of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Pike sees his involvement with TXCPA as a moral obligation. The accounting profession has given him a lot. He wants to return the favor.

Dress for Success Dallas is partnering with ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÏÂÔØ’s College of Business with a Dress for Success event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Student Union on the Denton campus.

Organization president found business footing with advisory board

Texas Woman's sophomore Sarah Gee found her community with the College of Business Dean’s Student Advisory Board (DSAB). She was voted president of the student organization for the 2023-24 school year.
